Goldleaf Set - Velvet Ink

The Kimera Kolors Velvet Inks Goldleaf Set contains six highly concentrated, semi-transparent acrylic inks built around rich golden, earthy and green tones. Their intense pigmentation, smooth flow and satin finish make them ideal for everything from colour mixing and shading to glazing, filtering and airbrushing. Each 15 ml bottle can be extensively diluted while maintaining strong colour intensity, providing the equivalent of more than 60 ml of standard ink.

Explore rich golds, greens and earthy tones
The Goldleaf Set moves from warm Rust and Rich Gold through vibrant greens to the deep blue-green tones of Petroleum. This versatile palette is ideal for enriching natural and organic colours, creating vegetation, weathered surfaces, earthy materials and atmospheric shadows, or introducing warm-to-cool colour variation into your miniatures. Use the inks on their own or combine them with other acrylic paints to shift, enrich and add depth to existing colours.

From washes and glazes to the airbrush
Velvet Inks adapt easily to different techniques and levels of dilution. Thin them heavily for washes, filters and transparent glazes, apply them over preshaded surfaces for techniques such as Slapchop, or use stronger concentrations for lining, shading and intense colour accents. They can also be thinned with water or acrylic thinner for airbrushing gradients, filters and controlled shadows.
