The Kimera Kolors Velvet Light Blender Muted Moon Set contains six concentrated satin acrylic inks designed specifically for creating cool, muted and chromatic highlights. Rather than relying on pure white to lighten colours, these subtly shifted tones allow you to increase brightness while introducing cooler colour variations, resulting in softer transitions and more atmospheric, integrated highlights.

Create cooler, atmospheric highlights
Muted Moon combines subtle greens, blues, violets and muted pink tones for shaping light with a distinctly cooler character. Mix them directly into your acrylic colours to create highlights without simply adding pure white, or apply them in thin translucent layers to introduce cool reflections and environmental light. They are particularly useful for night scenes, shaded environments, metallics, fabrics and skin illuminated by cooler light sources.

Shape light with greater control
Velvet Light Blenders can be mixed with other acrylics, layered directly over existing colours or diluted for subtle glazes.
