Aves Apoxie Sculpt is a popular two-part epoxy sculpting putty among miniature painters, model makers and artists. It combines the flexibility of sculpting clay with the adhesive strength of epoxy, making it a great choice for all kinds of creative projects. Whether you're building a scenic base, sculpting your own details, converting miniatures or kitbashing something completely new, Apoxie Sculpt is a fantastic material to work with. It's easy to shape, sticks to almost anything and hardens on its own without baking.

Get creative with your miniatures
Apoxie Sculpt is one of those materials that's incredibly handy to have on your hobby desk. Sculpt rocks and other natural features for your bases, add details to your miniatures, fill unwanted gaps or build entirely new parts for your conversions. Its smooth consistency makes it easy to work with, whether you're creating rough textures or carefully sculpting smaller details. And it's certainly not limited to miniatures! You can use it for all sorts of arts and crafts, jewellery, decorative pieces, repairs and other sculpting projects.

Plenty of time to get the details right
Once mixed, Apoxie Sculpt gives you approximately 1–3 hours to work on your creation. During the first half hour, it's particularly sticky and great for attaching material to surfaces. As it begins to set, it becomes easier to shape and refine smaller details. You can smooth the surface with a little water or Aves Finishing Solution, and after 24 hours it will have cured into a hard, durable and waterproof material. Once cured, you can sand, carve, drill, prime and paint it just like the rest of your miniature.

How to use

  1. Prepare: Put on protective gloves and take equal amounts of Part A and Part B. Use separate tools for each part to prevent cross-contamination.
  2. Mix: Knead both parts together for approximately 2 minutes until the colour is completely uniform. Let the mixture rest for about 5 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  3. Sculpt: Apply and shape the putty however you like. You'll have around 1–3 hours to work with it before it sets.
  4. Smooth and detail: Use sculpting tools, a damp brush or a little water to smooth surfaces and refine details. Aves Finishing Solution is also great for removing fingerprints and creating smooth transitions.
  5. Let cure: Leave your creation to harden for 24 hours before sanding, drilling or carving.
  6. Finish: Once cured, you can prime and paint your creation, or use stains, pigments and other decorative materials.

Important information
Apoxie Sculpt consists of two components that must be mixed in equal proportions. Always wear suitable protective gloves when handling and mixing the uncured putty, as it may cause allergic skin reactions and eye irritation. Wear a dust mask and safety glasses when sanding cured material. Keep containers tightly sealed when not in use and out of reach of children.
