Light Rust Wash - 35ml

The AK Interactive Light Rust Wash is a 35 ml enamel wash designed to create light rust tones and corrosion effects on vehicles, accessories and scenery. Its light rusty colour works especially well over darker greens and other deep base colours, producing a realistic matt finish suitable for damp, abandoned or heavily weathered subjects.

Add variation to rusty surfaces
It works well around bolts, joints and damaged paint on old machinery or abandoned vehicles, where small touches of lighter rust can add variation to darker corrosion.

Control the wash around details
Shake well before use and apply the wash with a brush around details, recesses and areas where rust would naturally develop. Excess product can be removed or blended with a clean brush dampened with White Spirit, allowing the intensity of the effect to be adjusted.
