Frost Effect

The AK Interactive Frost Effect is an 18 ml acrylic effect formulated to create realistic frost on miniature bases, vegetation, trees, ice surfaces and diorama scenery. As the product dries, it develops whitish crystals that recreate the appearance of frost at scale.

Add a cold, frosted finish to your scenery
Frost Effect is ideal for adding subtle winter detail to snow-covered bases, frozen landscapes and vegetation. Apply it selectively to areas where frost would naturally collect, such as grass, branches, leaves, rocks and exposed ground, to give a winter scene additional texture and variation.

Apply directly with a brush
The product is ready to use directly from the bottle and is designed for brush application. Apply it to the desired surface and allow it to dry while the crystalline frost effect develops. The final appearance and the time required for the crystals to form can vary depending on the amount applied as well as the ambient temperature and humidity.
