Glaze Medium

The AK Interactive Glaze Medium is an 18 ml acrylic medium formulated to dilute acrylic paints and extend their drying time for glazing, blending and transparent layers. It can be mixed directly with acrylic paint to modify its working properties without introducing a separate colour.

Build transparent layers and glazes
Use it for transparent colour shifts on skin, cloth and armour, or to build richer shadows gradually without obscuring the underlying paintwork.

Adjust consistency and drying time
Add the medium gradually until the desired consistency and finish are reached. It is a useful auxiliary for adapting paints to specific techniques while maintaining greater control over application.
