Matte Medium

The AK Interactive Matte Medium is an 18 ml acrylic medium formulated to reduce the sheen of acrylic paints while also allowing their consistency and transparency to be adjusted. It can be mixed directly with acrylic paint to modify its working properties without introducing a separate colour.

Reduce shine while adjusting paint
It is useful when a colour dries with more sheen than desired, or when preparing matt glazes and filters that should blend naturally into the surrounding paintwork.

Mix to the finish you need
Add the medium gradually until the desired consistency and finish are reached. It is a useful auxiliary for adapting paints to specific techniques while maintaining greater control over application.
