Metal Medium

The AK Interactive Metal Medium is an 18 ml acrylic medium formulated to give acrylic colours a pearlescent metallic character when mixed into the paint. It can be mixed directly with acrylic paint to modify its working properties without introducing a separate colour.

Create custom pearlescent colours
Try mixing a small amount into a favourite colour to create custom pearlescent armour, magical details or subtle metallic accents without changing to a separate paint range.

Mix into acrylic paint
Add the medium gradually until the desired consistency and finish are reached. It is a useful auxiliary for adapting paints to specific techniques while maintaining greater control over application.
