AK Wet Palette

The AK Interactive Wet Palette is designed to keep acrylic paints and colour mixtures workable for longer while painting miniatures and scale models. Measuring 23.5 x 17.5 x 2.5 cm, the airtight and watertight palette includes 40 interchangeable palette paper sheets, 2 absorbent sponges and a practical internal tray for mixing paint and storing brushes or accessories.

Keep acrylic paints workable for longer
The wet palette gradually supplies moisture to the palette paper, helping prevent acrylic paints from drying as quickly during longer painting sessions. Its airtight seal also helps preserve paints and mixtures between sessions once the palette is closed, making it easier to return to previously mixed colours.

Designed for controlled paint mixing
The neutral white absorbent surface helps maintain accurate colour perception while keeping the palette paper damp. The 40 g/m² paper features a thin silicone layer that allows moisture to pass through without transferring excess water into the paint and is designed not to release fibres while working with a brush.

Using the wet palette
Saturate the sponge with water and place the palette paper on top before adding your acrylic paints. Keep the sponge sufficiently wet during use to maintain moisture. When closed, the palette can also be stored in the refrigerator to help preserve paints and mixtures for longer.
