Primaries Set - Velvet Ink

The Kimera Kolors Velvet Inks Primaries Set contains six highly concentrated, semi-transparent acrylic inks designed for maximum versatility in miniature and model painting. Their intense pigmentation, smooth flow and satin finish make them ideal for everything from colour mixing and shading to glazing, filtering and airbrushing. Each 15 ml bottle can be extensively diluted while maintaining strong colour intensity, providing the equivalent of more than 60 ml of standard ink.

Essential colours with endless possibilities
The Primaries Set brings together six fundamental colours for mixing, modifying and enhancing your palette. Use the inks on their own for intense transparent colour or combine them with other acrylic paints to increase saturation, shift tones and create smoother transitions. By simply adjusting the dilution, the same colours can be used to darken, filter, glaze, shade or subtly modify an existing paintjob.

From washes and glazes to the airbrush
Velvet Inks adapt easily to different techniques and levels of dilution. Thin them heavily for washes, filters and transparent glazes, apply them over preshaded surfaces for techniques such as Slapchop, or use stronger concentrations for lining, shading and intense colour accents. They can also be thinned with water or acrylic thinner for airbrushing gradients, filters and controlled shadows.
