UV Curing Putty - 60g
The MadWorks x Phrozen UV Curing Putty is a light-curable, gel-like filling material designed for repairing, modifying, and refining 3D printed models and miniatures. Ideal for filling gaps, repairing damaged parts, and smoothing surface imperfections, the putty hardens in approximately 15 seconds under UV light. Once fully cured, it can be sanded and painted to create a smooth, seamless finish.
Quick Repairs and Precise Application
Compatible with cured resin and plastic surfaces, UV Curing Putty offers a convenient alternative to traditional fillers that require longer drying times. Its gel-like consistency allows for controlled application, making it suitable for both small repairs and detailed surface work. Each 60 g container includes a wooden applicator, although the MadWorks MT-40 Mini Palette Blades are recommended for more precise application.
How to Use
- Clean the surface and remove any dust or loose particles.
- Apply the desired amount of putty using the included wooden applicator or a suitable palette blade.
- Smooth the surface and remove excess material using alcohol.
- Cure using a UV light with a wavelength of 395 nm or higher. A layer approximately 1 mm thick requires around 15 seconds of exposure.
- Once fully cured, sand and paint the repaired area as desired.
Important Information
Wear protective gloves and avoid direct skin contact with uncured putty, as it may cause allergic reactions. Keep the container away from direct sunlight to prevent premature curing. Curing times vary depending on layer thickness and UV light intensity. The manufacturer recommends curing at a distance of approximately 1 cm. Freshly cured material may become hot, so allow it to cool before handling. Keep out of reach of children.
