Microscale Micro Sol is a decal softening solution designed to help waterslide decals conform to complex shapes, curved surfaces, and fine details on miniatures and scale models. Its powerful softening action makes the decal film extremely flexible, allowing it to settle into recessed details, around raised features, and across irregular surfaces. The result is a smooth, natural finish that makes decals appear painted directly onto the model.

Perfectly Conforming Decals on Difficult Surfaces
Micro Sol is particularly useful when applying markings, insignia, and decorative details to uneven or heavily textured surfaces. By temporarily softening the decal film, it allows decals to follow intricate contours that would otherwise be difficult to cover without wrinkles or visible edges. For the best results, use Micro Sol together with Microscale Micro Set, which prepares the surface and improves decal adhesion before the softening treatment.

How to Use
Prepare a clean surface and apply the decal using Micro Set. Once the decal is positioned and has settled sufficiently to prevent movement, apply a thin coat of Micro Sol with a small, soft brush, using as few strokes as possible. Leave the decal undisturbed while the solution softens the film and allows it to conform to the surface. Do not touch or reposition the decal during this process, as the softened film is extremely delicate and can tear easily. Allow it to dry completely before handling. A second application may be used if additional softening is needed.
