The Vallejo Squidmar Color Mega Set brings together the complete range of 72 Squidmar Color paints in one comprehensive collection. Developed in collaboration with Squidmar Miniatures, the range combines regular acrylics, metallics, fluorescent colours and inks, giving miniature painters an extensive palette for everything from tabletop armies to detailed display pieces. The set also includes five miniatures, a synthetic brush and accompanying painting tutorials.

Every colour, endless creative possibilities

With all 72 colours from the Squidmar Color range at your disposal, you can explore a wide variety of painting styles and techniques. The collection includes 48 regular acrylics, 7 metallics, 5 fluorescent colours and 12 inks, each offering different possibilities for your miniatures.

The colours are designed to complement one another, making it easier to mix additional shades, build smooth transitions and create interesting contrasts. Whether you're painting natural skin tones, colourful fantasy creatures, weathered armour or dramatic lighting effects, the Mega Set provides plenty of options to bring your ideas to life.

Take your painting beyond the basics

The different paint types open up possibilities beyond traditional basecoating and highlighting. Use the regular acrylics for layering, blending and detailed brushwork, or experiment with non-metallic metal (NMM) techniques to create convincing reflections using ordinary colours.

The metallic paints offer a more direct approach to painting weapons, armour and mechanical details. Fluorescent colours are particularly useful for glowing plasma weapons, magical effects and other vibrant accents, while the inks allow you to introduce transparent shadows, colour filters and saturated glazes.

Together, these paints make the set suitable for both efficient tabletop painting and more elaborate display projects.

Five miniatures to explore the collection

The Mega Set includes four HIPS plastic miniatures from the Squidmar Color Essentials Set, alongside a fifth, larger exclusive miniature from the Sona universe.

These models provide a selection of projects for experimenting with the different paint types and techniques. The miniatures are supplied unassembled and unpainted, allowing you to explore the complete painting process from start to finish.

Learn new techniques as you paint

A synthetic Squidmar brush is included to help you get started with the collection. Accompanying tutorial content guides you through different miniature painting techniques using colours from the Mega Set.

Whether you're an ambitious beginner looking for a complete painting system or an experienced painter wanting to explore the entire Squidmar Color range, the combination of paints, miniatures and tutorials offers plenty of opportunities to develop your skills.
