Mixing White - 60ml

Winsor & Newton Professional Acrylic Mixing White is a semi-opaque white specifically formulated for mixing and subtly lightening colours. Unlike a strong Titanium White, its reduced tinting strength allows you to increase the brightness of a colour while retaining more of its original saturation and character, giving you greater control when building highlights and transitions.

Lighten colours without washing them out
Adding a strong white can quickly turn vibrant colours into pale, desaturated or pastel tones. Mixing White provides a more gradual alternative, making it particularly useful for miniature painters building progressive highlights in saturated colours, skintones and other mixtures where you want to raise the value without overpowering the original colour.

More control over your colour mixing
The lower tinting strength gives you more room to fine-tune mixtures and create subtle steps between shadows, midtones and highlights. Use it for controlled layering, blending and glazing, or alongside Titanium White: Mixing White for gradual transitions and colour preservation, and Titanium White when maximum brightness and opacity are required.

Winsor & Newton Professional Acrylic Mixing White uses PW6 pigment and has excellent lightfastness and extremely permanent permanence. Supplied in a 60 ml tube.
