Shipping & Returns

Shipping

After placing an order and completing the payment, you will receive an automated order confirmation by email. It is possible that this e-mail ends up in your spam folder, so keep an eye on that as well.

  • If all items are in stock, your package will be packed the same day and shipped the next opportunity, which is a maximum of two business days after placing your order.
  • If you have ordered 3D printed products that are not in stock, then they'll have to be produced. The processing time of 3D printed products is usually 5 to 7 business days. This is in addition to the delivery time.

After the package has been delivered to PostNL, the delivery time within the Netherlands is usually 1 to 2 business days. For deliveries outside of the Netherlands, different delivery times apply. We can't guarantee delivery times.

We do not do partial deliveries, so shipment will be delayed until the entire order is complete.

Exceptional Processing and Delivery Times

Keep in mind that the previously stated processing and delivery times are not a guarantee. Here are a couple cases in which the processing and delivery time can temporarily increase.

  1. During busy periods, like the holidays, it can temporarily increase.
  2. When using our 3D Printing Service it will increase.
  3. When ordering Custom Miniatures, like HeroForge Miniatures, it will increase.

Empire of Minis cannot guarantee any delivery time, but we will keep you up to date through email notifications when your order is delayed.

Time Critical Delivery

Do you need your order before a certain date, then please contact us before placing your order. This way we will be able to give you an estimation of the expected delivery time.

Order Pick-up

In some cases it is possible to pick up your order. Pick-up is only possible if there has been contact about this in advance and the pick-up appointment has been confirmed.

Delivery Services

We work exclusively with PostNL, the Dutch Postal Service, for shipping all our packages within the EU. All packages are trackable.

Packaging Material

All items are carefully packed in sturdy shipping boxes, filled with filling material, to minimize the risk of damage.

We try to use the most eco-friendly products for our boxes and filling material. All the materials are recyclable. We try to prevent creating waste as much as we can.

Shipping Costs

The shipping costs will automatically be added to your order when you select a shipping method during the checkout process.

Free shipping is available for orders that meet the minimum value requirement.

Note: Some products are excluded from free shipping due to their weight and / or size. This will be indicated on the product-page and the cart-page.

Shipping Address Data

It is the customer's responsibility to correctly enter and/or verify the shipping address if it has already been entered. If you find out afterwards that you have entered an incorrect shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible.

PostNL Service Point Pickup

When PostNL is unable to deliver the package to the shipping address it might be transferred to a PostNL Service Point. It is the customer's responsibility to pick the package up at the Service Point.

If the customer does not pick up the package within a certain timeframe, then the package will be returned to us. Any shipping costs and additional costs for the returning of the package will be deducted from the order refund value.

Returns

Everyone has the right to return an order up to 14 days after receipt. As soon as we have received the return shipment in good order, you will be credited the purchase amount within 14 days. The shipping costs for the return are for your own account.

If you are going to return, items must be in the same condition as you received them, including the original packaging and with all accessories supplied.

Shipping credit on return

If you return a complete order, you will also be credited the shipping costs of the initial purchase. If you return a part of an order, the shipping costs will not be credited.

Exceptions

Some items cannot be returned.

  • gift cards.
  • items presented with a described defect, these defects are specified in the item description.
  • items made to your specification, such as a 3D print with an increased scale or a 3D print of a self-supplied model.

In certain cases, only part of the price will be refunded:

  • items that are not in their original condition, are damaged or are missing parts, and for which this is not our fault.
  • items that are not returned within the period of 14 days after delivery.
